Getting Started

This guide helps you install, set up, and start using Aiseesoft tools effectively. Whether you're using data transfer, recovery, or erasure software, the basic process is similar across all products.

Installation Guide

Download the Software

Visit the official Aiseesoft website and navigate to your chosen product page. Click the "Download" button to get the installation file for your operating system (Windows or macOS).

Verify the file extension: .exe for Windows, .dmg for macOS

Run the Installer

Locate the downloaded file (usually in your "Downloads" folder) and double-click to run it. On Windows, you may see a User Account Control prompt - click "Yes" to proceed. On macOS, you may need to allow the app in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

Follow Installation Wizard

Click "Next" to proceed through the installation steps. Review the license agreement, then choose your installation folder (we recommend keeping the default settings for most users).

Complete Installation

Click "Install" to begin the process. When finished, check "Launch [Product Name]" and click "Finish" to open the software. A desktop shortcut will be created for easy access.

First Time Setup

Preparing Your Device

For iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad)

  • Ensure your device is charged to at least 50%
  • Unlock your device before connecting to computer
  • On first connection, tap "Trust" when prompted on your device
  • Have your passcode ready (may be required for some operations)

For Android Devices

  • Enable USB debugging in Developer Options
  • Set USB connection mode to "File Transfer"
  • Allow all permission prompts on your device
  • Disable any battery optimization for the connection

Activating Your License

If you purchased a license:

  1. Open the software and click "Register" or "Activate" in the top menu
  2. Enter the email address you used for purchase
  3. Enter your license key (check your purchase confirmation email)
  4. Click "Activate" to complete the process

You can use the free trial version without activation, but some features will be limited.
